Verizon Wireless  Helps Domestic Violence Victims

I have known for years that Verizon Wireless is a great cell phone carrier with many fantastic cellular phone deals, and a top rated customer service department. However, I was not aware that Verizon Wireless has a program to help out the victims of domestic violence.

To me this is important because it shows that Verizon Wireless is committed to local communities in a meaningful way. Something that indicates to me that we are more than just numbers to them.

Exactly How Does Verizon Wireless Helps

What Verizon Wireless does is that they collect used phones. The phones collected by Verizon Wireless are refurbished and/or recycled depending on their conditioned. With the ones that are refurbished  set up with 3,000 minutes of wireless air time.

Once this is done they take this cell phones and donate them to domestic violence organizations, to  local government and law enforcement agencies so they can use them to assist their domestic violence clients.
